2ACV07: Put Your Head on my Shoulder
- Uh-huh, now tell her she's witty and sophisticated.
- OK, the sticker says fifty-five-thousand, but we'll only go as high as, say... [Amy: "Sixty-thousand!"] urgghhh!
- Amy, you don't go up from the sticker price. [Amy: "I thought it was an auction."]
- [Fry: "Well, since neither of us has a date, why don't we..."] You just assume I can't get a Valentine's date. [Fry: "Shall we say eight o'clock?"]
- Bender! Romance isn't about money.
- For your information, it's because he's hideous.
- Bender, this is stupid, why would anyone come to you for romantic help?
- You'll be back to zero, soon enough.
- I think you're overreacting.
- Fry, she's pulling down billionaire trust fund money.
- Tsk! tsk! tsk! This sort of thing always happens with office romances.
- [Bender: "I'm telling you, losers get really desperate around Valentine's day."] Yeah, it's pathetic, alright. [Leela starts whistling then Bender starts playing along to the tune.] How much? [Bender: "Five-hundred bucks."] Done. [Bender: "Zapp Brannigan OK?"] No! [Bender: "Six-hundred."]
- [Amy singing in the background.] You're too late Fry, I'm sharing Valentine's Day with a very special man. He's not Zapp Brannigan, or anything.
- Nice ass, ass.
- Bender, did you just round up our dates at the bus station?
- Why, if it isn't my favourite head on Amy's body: Fry.
- Nonsense, the evening's young. So, Gary, what do you do for a living? [Gary: "I'm a banking industry regulator." Amy sighs.] Really? You know, I heard that banking industry regulations are really very simple. [Gary: "Oh, no, that's not true. You see, modern banking regulations are a product, of five different regulatory traditions; six if you want to get technical."] Oh, I do.
- So, how's the old corpse... everything hooked up OK?
- Anytime... I actually enjoyed hanging out with you.
- Come on, it's not like you intentionally set us up with bad dates so we'd spend Valentine's Day together.
- No, you didn't, you just corralled a bunch of stiffs at the bus station and pocketed our money.
